I have discovered this forum and decided to join. It looks like there are a bunch of like minded people here. My hope is to find some people who will share their experience making the transition to retirement. I will be 64 this August and I have been blessed with working for Boeing in Seattle for 40 years. I love my job and the people I work with. I feel like they are my tribe. My wife of 31 years is seven years younger than me and worries a lot about retirement. I want to learn about the cost side of retirement financials. I know everyone is different, but I want good Medicare supplemental insurance and long term disability. My wire will have insurance from Boeing until she hits Medicare. Then she will need the supplemental.
