Hello, Mike here. I'm an early riser and typically have to find something quite to do until the wife awakens. This morning I was spending time online and thought to do a search on "senior forums" and lo and behold, here you all were. After a quick look around, I quickly concurred that this will be a fun place to spend time. I'm a young senior, as I just turned 60 in October. I have been self-employed for the past ten years as hit man... just kidding, I'm a web designer that reads too many detective novels. It's interesting to see who reads the intros and it's always fun to add a phrase or two to see if anyone catches them. I have many of the standard hobbies - woodworking, gardening, some travel, reading, cooking (mostly BBQ), cartooning, shoveling snow, etc.

Welcome, Mike. As you list "shoveling snow" among your avocations, it would follow that you are in a northerly location.

Hi Tommy, I'm currently in Missouri, but will soon be headed to Florida for a few months.

I did read your Intro, so I noticed that you threw that detail in, to see if we are awake, :)

A good thing about your decision to be joining this group, is that we are located both in Missouri and in Florida. ;)

Welcome, Mike. You'll find that most here are vintage but a couple did not age well at all. Maturity does not come easily to some. All tolerated, however. Enjoy
