Hello from another Newbie

Hello Everyone! Just stumbled upon this forum and it looks like a nice place to hang out. I'm not new to forums, just this forum. I love reading, photography, animals, cooking, gardening and travel.
I'm originally from Texas but live at Lake Texoma on the Oklahoma side. Lake Texoma borders Texas and Oklahoma.

Are you under any watering restrictions in Houston? We've had a decent amount of rain this year. Things are actually still green!!!

Unbelievably, no restrictions .. not since 2011. They always say not to water unnecessarily of course, but we can water lawns whenever, so things look pretty normal. (green)..
