Hi, nice to meet y'all! No, that's not Florida talk, just the silly mood I'm in. I remember years ago, before I moved here, all I wanted was to move to Florida. That was prior 1986. So how do I like it by now? Well, I'm really sick of the heat! Standard forecast most of the year 70s overnight and 90s daytime. Want to pay my AC bill? And now another hurricane season is arriving. So with every low pressure system it is pins and needles. But other than those things, it's okay. We have pretty vegetation, a nice ocean (which tourists swim in - yuk!) and flat roads.
Anyhow, I was bored and surfing the net to find people to talk to, and here you were - lucky you!

Hi Jan, and welcome!!! I'm curious...where did you live before?? Flat roads?? I'm in MO, and we rarely see 'flat roads', and I really dislike the heat and humidity, too. Oh, there's good things, and I do remind myself of that often - especially in the Summer.

Thanx for the welcome and reply. Well my roots were in Lancaster, PA, but I roamed a bit and spent time in NY, TN & MS, too. BTW is there a thread where members have posted where they are from or do you just look at each name?

I don't think there is a specific thread for where we are from...someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to swap sight-unseen - I rent in one of the rougher parts of South WB (on the Hanover Township border - Barney Street / Lee Park Avenue sound familiar?)

One of my T'ai-Chi schools was in Kingston for 7 years, on Schuyler Ave. - small world indeed!

Sorry, I never knew WB very well, just from visits to the Ukrainian grandparents. I was in the Kingson area for 7 years, too, but many moons ago! Last home in Connelly. I liked it there - sigh....
