Good morning. My wife and I are retired RNs from Upstate NY, now spending our winters in SW Florida. My interest in joining this forum relates to an upcoming decision on Medigap vs Advantage plans. At present I have an Advantage Plan with zero premium and meds which are covered at no cost to me. My health is excellent, but none of us know the future. My copays are high but I seldom need to see a physician. We travel extensively...sometimes outside the US. Bottom line is I want no surprises...a plan that’s portable and comprehensive. Not sure if there’s a Medigap plan that compares to an Advantage Plan for portability, coverage, and price. Have a wonderful day!
