Hello from the frigid north

New member here. Widow with a family of eight kids - only one living at home (in college) and five are married. I have nine grandkids. Oldest daughter is 50 and youngest is 21. What a wonderful life my husband and I had together (45 years) until he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 6 months later. I mostly keep quiet and love to read what others have to say.

Yes, welcome. Some would say I'm in the frigid north. But I don't remember winter lows ever being colder than -23C (-9F) in my current location.
