It has been an awful week here in Oregon (and Washington and California). Fires, smoke, covid, lost jobs, etc. I wanted to share a local story I just read, one of survival and the makings of a dramatic movie. It is only one story of many being shared today. Please read. Thank you.

That's quite a story. I feel for the people who have died in the fires. That must be a horrible way to go.

My husband and I lived near Seattle for a number of years, and often drove down through Oregon to visit our daughter in CA. Oregon is (was?) such a beautiful state. We loved the area along the coast, particularly the town of Yachats. I hope that area has at least been spared.

Oregon is beautiful still... although this year we had a terrible fire event (high winds, very hot days and dry forests), this state of being also includes Washington and California.
