Just registered and browsing around.
Looks like a good place to make friends and talk about the world situation. (which is beyond my understanding)
Not much to tell. Been retired from education for 11 years. Married for 48 years last April. My wife was also an educator.
I'm conservative, a Southern Baptist, love all kinds of music (classical, southern gospel, some blue grass, and others)
My favorite hobbies are cycling, golfing, hiking, going to symphony (daughter plays the french horn in our local symphony).
I'm very active in my church. I've had positions of visitation, drama (Christmas Pageant), wheel chair ministry, deacon, assistant Sunday School teacher for my class (been a member for about 40 yrs), golf cart driver on Sundays, usher, and church cafeteria volunteer. (not a saint, just a sinner saved by grace)
