Just joined seniorforums dot com this morning 10/26/2021 and look forward to engaging others here in conversation. Retired a few years ago here in Silicon Valley after working 4+ decades in hardware electronics so have many tech skills. Single (never married but looking for wife :) ), no dependents, no real estate, financial peon stably collecting high end monthly SS. Have always spent a fair amount of time as a senior reading science and technology. Not into politics or social media. Otherwise an active, youthful looking outdoors person, hiking, backpacking, landscape and nature photography, skiing.

Life is precious, short, don't waste it.

Hi RubyK! Silicon Valley. Will soon be skiing up at Tahoe given the 3+ feet of new snow from the "bomb cyclone' storm. Yeah should have qualified the term "social media" as have been active on web boards since earliest Internet years and have an expanding youtube presence. So no smartphone app oriented social media that has appeared after the rise of phones.
