Help! Advice for renting Senior

Hopefully you can find a small, single-level older property. These units are often called garden apartments or cottages. Sometimes the older ones can be larger with more windows and fenced in front and/or back patios. Craigslist is still a good place to watch. Though it has become full of scams, if you know what to watch for you can find some good opportunities. Good luck to you!

Without knowing where you live exactly, this advice is too general ...you ought to ask on a local site or look at small real estate companies. I know a lot about this, and it is hard to find, very time consuming. It was like a hobby or job, even in huge metro areas. Chicago, Tampa, Denver, Nashville etc. You need luck and persistence. You can PM me.

Would you consider a duplex? Only one neighbor and oftentimes there is a small (shared) yard.

When I was looking to rent, between selling one house and buying another, I found a duplex that was advertised in a small local weekly newspaper. It was great!
