...but dear Wifey is happy here with family and friends and I'm not about to leave alone.

Hello. My name is Dale and I'm a fishaholic. I enjoy whackin' the keyboard and visiting people - even if it's virtual visitinig.

Wifey and I have been married 22 years ♥♥, both now in our 70th year. We've been retired over 10 years. Wifey stays busy with friends and family; I stay busy with my boat and RV when it's warmer - but am stuck to my beloved recliner this time of year. That recliner gets more attractive as the years go by.

We live in a senior gated community in the Central Valley, near Stockton. It's not very pretty here, but we're close to anything a fella might want to do.

I hope to while away a few visits a week here, increasing my 'puter time even more, while meeting new virtual friends. I spend too much time as it is on this dang thing...
 

Hi Dale, welcome to the forum! :welcome: My hubby and I enjoy fishing also, but we don't need a 12 Step Program for it yet, LOL! :shark:

Congrats to you and your wife for your 22 years of wedded bliss, it's be 36 now for us. There's lots of nice folks here, get comfortable and make yourself at home. :teapot:

Thanks for the kind welcomes, all. I'm a bit late here, but have been on the road visiting snowbird friends in Quartzsite, AZ and my son and family in Oceanside, CA near San Diego. Grand trip, some rain, good visits.

This is a nice and friendly place and it's good to be here.

Dale: I can give it up any time I want, though - really!

ALL: *sad shaking of heads*

Dale: I'm serious! Just last week I tossed out two old lures and a bent bamboo rod I'd had for 35 years! And I've recently cut down to tying only 15 flies a week!

Phil: Dale, welcome. It's OK to admit to having a problem - I know how tough it can be - I myself was addicted to collecting old Yoo-Hoo bottles from the street, for many years, but now I only pick up the occasional one, for old-times' sake.
