Help with a Tracker for a Senior

Does anyone know of a very discrete tracker for a senior with dementia. My DD’s family are travelling overseas in a few days and the father has significant memory loss that has been more noticeable lately.

He refuses to wear a monitored necklace. He doesn’t carry a phone. His old Timex is precious to him so can’t be exchanged for a Smart Watch. Those Tile devices are rather bulky. I don’t know of a really tiny one. Maybe someone here does.

Just thought I’d throw this out here for ideas.

Something like this maybe.?

GPS Tracking for Seniors - How it Works

Thanks, Paco. That one looks interesting. I guess he could use an Apple tile tracker the same way and have it tucked away in a coat pocket and wallet. He takes a bit of delight in sneaking off.

There is nothing simpler than an Apple air tag and there are several options for the holder from inside a wallet to a key ring.
The problem is that he doesn’t think he has a problem. It has to be something he won’t notice.

They have a burglar alert that can be attached to a door in the hotel. His wife is worried that he’ll decide to wander while she’s sleeping or in the shower.
