Hi all,

I'm making a grocery list today and have a few things I know to get, but would love some ideas from you?

I do a mostly glycemic diet, I mean one that is good for diabetes? They say it is the best diet for lots of people, so that is what I basically stick to. This is going to be even more focused on my sister though. I feel I have to try to take over the cooking, which she does love, so I want to get the best I can for her Osteo A, and yes, I know I can't control her, but if she still does other things, at least they will be more in moderation;)

Appreciate any help in making my grocery list;) Recipes welcome too, especially some that last a couple of days, like soup etc. I am making Lentil soup today, with chicken, and lots of vegies;)

Make sure you leave the bones of the chicken and add a little vinegar to leach out the nutriments from the bones and cartilage. Also if there is any sign of grey hair get a copper bracelet because you will absorb copper through your skin and many people that have arthritis are copper deficient and a good sign is grey hair.

Celery is good for bones. You could make a stew out of scallops which are rich in calcium or jst bake 'em. Tumeric is a natural anti inflammatory.

I've been using celery a lot lately, just made lentil soup with a bunch, plus a big salad we ate for a couple of days. I didn't know about the benefits of celery though, so thank you;) Chic, denise
