Glad to hear about Alpert still going strong at 90! He made popular so many recognizable tunes, especially in the 1960s and '70s.

He had a recording studio on LaBrea and Sunset Avenues in Hollywood (the home of A&M Records) which had been the original Charlie Chaplin studios. We recorded the music for the Smothers Brothers Summer Special there in 1970. Later the studio was bought (and still owned) by The Jim Henson Company (The Muppets).
