Here's that not-at-all-cute young feral cat

A lady trapped it for me, a 3-4 month old pregnant cat, and took her to a clinic where she had surgery and vaccines and all that. She's recuperating in a storage room at my house for a few days...been there since yesterday evening. She came out into the family room this morning, and Pixel seemed ok with it, so I might keep her inside.

She's actually not quite as ugly as the day I first saw her (a few weeks ago), but, yeah....nnnot a pretty cat.
I named her Scribbles bc it looks like a 3yr-old drew on the eyebrows and hair with a black marker.

Aw, not too ugly. Lisa Minnelli eyes! 😁

She's looking for a home .... kidding.
Feral cats only live a few years at most, usually, so she's staying inside. She's been through enough.
:giggle: So glad to hear she'll have a home! I know ferals don't survive long ... I've not seen any data saying how much longer they live when brought inside and cared for... assuming it would change rather dramatically?

Pixel was a feral who walked into my (old) apartment about 4 years ago. He was probably about 9 months old then. He's had it pretty good, so I'm sure he's gonna be around for quite a while.

My gramma's cat lived to age 21.

Actually, I think she is pretty - great colour and markings. :)

She's not ugly at all. A tortie calico. Like Talia.

It appears they did a spay/abort. The only option. Poor little thing. I hope she settles in. She's got the ear clip.
Yeah, it was an abort & spay. You can't tell by the picture but she's not much bigger than my foot. She can't be more than 3-4 mo/old...too young to deliver a litter of kittens imo.

She's beautiful.

She's got that Gidget look. Tortoise Shell, like Gidget & her mommy. I am conflicted about Gidget's appearance but since we will be together for the next 15+ years, god willing, I hope I start thinking they are as beautiful as my Buffy & Max duo.

So desperate for cats after Buffy, I ended up getting cats whose colors I said I never wanted. Louie is a brown ORANGE. Never cared for orange, but like the brown & white. Gidget, is mostly black and never wanted a black type cat either. Now I have both. They are Halloween cats.

I vowed to always cherish cats & love them. No matter what. Can't save all, but can save two at a time.

Scribble's is very unique looking and wonderful coloring :)
I adopted a Tortie when she was two years old some years
ago. Looked similar to Scribble. A neighbor at that time says
"I think she is the ugliest cat I've ever seen in my life" I wanted
to deck her, really, I did. I loved her so much for as long as I
had her, until taken ill with nasal cancer. Miss her loads to
this very day. She was beautiful to me..

I love the markings on Scribble 🤗
