In another thread you mentioned a high school friend named Major Holley who later moved to NYC and was quite successful, playing with several well-known bands.

Looks like he died from a heart attack in 1990 at age 66.

Yep. That's the guy. We were good buddies in high school.

Yes, I'm aware of his success in NY City and also of his passing.
