Got to have a crawfish boil.
I did this once. In the 80’s. At some dive bar in New Orleans. There were a couple of drums of crawdads being boiled behind the bar. I had to have quite a few shots to work up the nerve to suck a few out of their shells. .Never again.

Years ago when I was in the military, I was stationed in Mississippi, and on leave I went to New Orleans. It's a whole different culture.
