Hey, I Want That Disease Looks Like Fun!

I dislike how they take the songs from our younger days and turn them into selling vehicles.

As for that commercial, yeah ... I want to kick that guy. With the leg that hasn't been wasted by diabetes.

Watching the various drug ads, I always wonder who makes up those crazy names for these killer drugs.
They make it look like taking any one of them is a great experience.. if I see it on TV, I just know that I don't ever want to take it.

I love when they use songs from our younger days for TV commercials, that's the only thing that makes me tolerate them sometimes. They can't do anything to make me like prescription drug ads, they should be banned from TV and prescribing medicine should be done in the doctor's office by the doctor, that's what he's getting paid for.

Ads like this fester the pill or process mentality rather things like exercise, vitamins, lifestyle etc. Pills and processes are money for some, not cures for many.

I feel like I'm on a "one man mission" to have these prescription drug ads removed from TV. Only the U.S. and New Zealand allow this Propaganda. These TV ads boost the cost of prescription drugs by at least 20%...and probably more. I have sent notes to all my politicians, and several of the TV companies....and make it a point to bring this up every time I attend a Town Hall meeting held by my politicians. So far, my requests seem to be falling on deaf ears, but hopefully more and more people will see the light...and if enough people start pestering these politicians, maybe something will happen in the distant future.
