Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Pinky. I am a 65 year young female. I have been happily married for as long as I can remember. We are both keen sailors and have travelled the world (before covid) on our boat “Shero.” We are happily marooned off the coast of Australia due to covid lockdowns but hail from Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. We live close to one of our heroes, Richard Branson and his fabulous spread (which we visited on many occasions) is only 30 kms away from our humble villa!

I kept many journals during our travels and am now in the process of writing a book which I hope to publish in the not too distant future.

Welcome Shero! Sounds like you live quite an interesting life!

My only sailing experience was on a bareboat charter out of Tortola, a great 10 days! I am not really a sailor, had to do some research to find a charter company that would would accept someone with as little expertise as me. Spent most of the time under power, only raised the sails a few times, not close to shore in the middle of the Drake Channel. Passed by Branson's island, but got no invite to land LOL!

You must return and I suspect you are a better sailor than you think you are. Did you enjoy your time on Tortola?
