Hi,

I was looking for a friendly senior forum and found this one. I enjoy reading what other folks are doing and sharing memories. I'm 77, a retired manufacturing engineer. I've done some woodworking, built some plastic scale models, and for the last couple years spent many clear evenings staring at the sky with my telescope.

Pappy -- I've heard of Paso Robles, but never been there. I'm not much of a tourist, never even been to Catalina. There are a lot of pretty places in California that I've never seen.
