Hi Gang. It's nice to meet ya'll.

Thanks for all the warm responses of welcome. In response to a question posed in one of the posts, yes, I was a law enforcement officer with the federal Dept. of Labor when the TBI happened.

Public employees often get a bad rap, even those in dangerous roles. I hope we can all become more mutually respectful in the future.

Welcome Don-this site has something for everyone and more than some thing!
Lots of forums and the site is easy to use.
I am from NY , at a high altitude and more cows than people ,where I live.

I am a seventy-four year old man. I live in rural Northwest Georgia. Contrary to the impression that might have been given by the use of the pronoun ya'll I am fairly literate and love to read and sometimes write. I also enjoy my children and grandchildren, audio, shooting and sailing. I get in at least a two mile walk in the woods at least five or six days each week. I hope it isn't obvious, but I am a little brain damaged from two TBI in the line of duty. I was married to the same beautiful blue eyed blonde woman for fifty-one years until she passed away about two and one-half years ago. Her love and support after the head injuries was priceless.
Welcome, Don. I just saw your post, here.
Very sorry for your loss of your wife;
I am glad to read about how you had her support,
and that you were able to recover from those injuries.

Again, welcome to our forum. :)
