Hi Diane and welcome to Senior Forum. Certainly as a healthcare professional your knowledge and opinions will be appreciated. In what particular area of healthcare are you most experienced? You mentioned being an author, are the things you have authored targeted for the layman or just other professionals?

In response to your questions, My field of focus is eldercare. I assist aging seniors to remain in their homes as the age, and support the family caregiver throughout their caregiving journey. I am a dementia care specialist. My books are for the lay person.

I promote healthy aging, dementia prevention and educate on how to remain independent for as long as possible. The largest growing segment of the population right now, are those living to 90 and beyond. With that comes many different obstacles and challenges we, as a society have never faced before. I hope to support and educate on helping seniors be successful at aging in place as well as discuss end of life issues, that need to be addressed as we get older.
