From time to time over the past several weeks I’ve popped in to read a few threads before finally deciding today to register as a member.
I retired last year after 23 years with a major food distributor, sold my home, and did some traveling, mostly around the USA. I also visited Germany, Prague, and England. I now live in a small apartment within 10 miles of my sons and three youngest grandchildren.
I was widowed in 2010 after 46 years with a wonderful, brilliant man and my dearest friend, and though suddenly living alone required uncounted adjustments, I remain happily un-remarried. I am now adjusting to a new person in my life. He is only seven weeks old, and a real charmer. The county CPS agency delivered him to me about 3 weeks ago.
I will post about him in the Family/Relationships forum after I get some much-needed sleep.
