I found this "Quaint" video, probably done with a
ciné camera, the narration is done in a highland
accent spoken by a real highlander, with his sort
of sing-song way of speaking.

It is 20 minutes long, but interesting at least to me.

They have the Skye Bridge at the kyle of Lochalsh..no need to take a boat any more..but the bridge is a dangerous place in the Scottish winds and rains.. ..I nearly moved to Skye once, but the thought of having to cross that bridge in winter put me off . I do get homesick tho' when I see old footage like that, do you Mike ? :giggle:
