Holding Hands

I always thought that it was so nice to hold a girl's hand, I'd still hold the hand of a lady that lives over the road if she would let me.

Were you a hand holder, or did you think it was an 'old fashioned' thing to do?

Yes, my husband and I always held hands, even just walking into the grocery store. A few cousins were sitting on the grass at a family picnic, and when my husband and I walked down the hill to sit with them, we heard, "Look, how cute, they're holding hands!" like it was something out of the ordinary. We'd frequently hold hands while sitting on the couch watching TV.

I used to be a hand holder but my 2nd wife gave me a hard time over it, so I would never make the first move anymore. I have a young friend who takes my hand on the days her Mom asks me to walk her home from school, I think it's wonderful.

I always liked holding hands. When I was too young for members of the opposite gender, I held hands with my friends. I held hands with family members and eventually men. It's just a sign of deep affection to me and makes me feel better.
