Hollywood actor/icon Robert Redford has passed away at 89

Saw a lot of his movies, The Sting, The Way We Were, Jeremiah Johnson, Brubaker, The Candidate, All the President's Men.
But when I think of Robert Redford, only one movie comes to mind. Raindrops keep falling on my head. Favorite movie of that year and favorite song from a movie.

R.I.P

"Butch" and "Sting" were great films. But my favorite Redford picture may be Three Days of the Condor (1975) with Faye Dunaway, Max von Sydow, and Cliff Robertson.

He did great work in Jeremiah Johnson (1972) as well.

I'll guess that the role which may have been closest to his real personality may have been as Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby (1974).

Oops missed this thread - but we can all wish him well - wherever that may be - I sit in the evening dusk in my forest abode waiting for Ma and Pa to drop by but they never do?? - I thought we were all good at time travel?

Although it's been a long time since I watched it and it's not the happiest of movies, I think the best acting I saw him do was in Downhill Racer (1969). IIRC, he played a total jerk and did it really believably.
