Oh, it's a big thing now on college campuses to get yourself diagnosed with ADD or anxiety disorder or stuff like that. Then you can force the university to let you have more time taking tests, taking tests different ways or getting tests delayed because you're having a "panic attack".

I'm certainly not attacking those who genuinely have these disorders, but it's interesting to see how much of a huge increase in those disorders that students are now claiming. The other big scam is claiming to need an emotional support animal so that you can bring your dog or cat to live in the dorm.

The whole cheating thing has been going on probably as long as there have been colleges. When I took the SAT back in 1964, I remember at least two of my classmates who bragged about having someone else take the test for them. It was easy to send someone in your place. Not all teenagers had drivers' licenses and the licenses didn't have photos on them. All you had to do was have someone of the same sex go in your place, having practiced signing your signature. I'm not sure they even checked that.

Besides the bribers and actual recipients I can't believe this school wouldn't wonder why a 'charity' is donating millions of dollars yet doesn't seem to be associated, affiliated or want something like a seat on a board, a building plaque etc. Wow another million dollars. If I got millions a year in 'charitable' contributions with unclear motives or purpose if nothing else I'd be waiting for the big ask/favor from the donor. In other words what were the attached strings, that's the question most would've been asking.
 
Plausible deniability for Macy. And his wife gets to stay out of jail and work even if it's flipping burgers to pay the lawyer bills and penalties

I tend to think Lori and her husband and that guy Singer might actually have to serve some prison time.
Felicity...probably not, but maybe...a short time.

One thing that's kind of getting lost is not just the money/bribe. The fact that it takes or people expect a third party to handle their problem or achieve their goals. Call it delegating or a system of favors it's someone going outside to get what they want.

This scammer facilitator is just another guy they know in these circles to get what ever they want. Call them a fixer or facilitator. But they are relying on someone else. They are also failing to teach their kids they must be responsible for themselves AND work with what they have.

This is just another case of "I know a guy" syndrome. Some just care about the favor and others like to name drop but 'the guy' someone knew got them into to some deep poop.
 
And then the prophet said in "the end times" there will be gnashing of teeth and wailing and debauchery and cheating and fallen standards and then the Beast will return to devour the earth - gired your loins and tremble!!
