NO But it's been my wish to do it for a long time...but it's very expensive to have a decorator inHave you ever hired someone...

From the pictures of your house, it shows you have good taste, @seadoug. I like white cabinets and soft colors. No, but we did hire a contractor to replace our wood floors, remodel our guest bath and our kitchen. For the floors, we chose hand-scraped hardwoods. He brought in several stains and we picked one. For the bathroom, he showed us various cabinet styles and countertops. We picked tile floors, cabinets, countertops, toilet, tub and fixtures. In the kitchen, we kept our cabinets, added hardware and replaced the backsplash, countertops and sink. He brought in various samples for the countertops and backsplash and we picked from that based on what would go with the original cabinets. Our cabinets are original to when the house was built 23 years ago, but they are white so we saw no need to change them. Much lower cost and we are satisfied. Here are a couple of pics.

Ethan Allen had offered..in the past.. don't know..now.I would love to do that! A dream come true!
I dated a professional home decorator for a while, and she itched to give my home some style. In fact, she offered to redecorate for free. I'd buy the furniture, she'd go pick it out. Problem is, I have no style and I don't care that my house doesn't either. I love it the way it is.Have you ever hired someone...
