Home security question.

Most home burglaries occur during the day and when resident is not home, so the burglar won't have to worry about bringing a knife or where it might end up.

$349 laptop....lots of burglars would love to have that. :)

That's $349 new. What could they get fencing a used one? 20 or 30 bucks maybe?

Besides that, I'm retired. So I don't follow a rigid schedule. And I'm in the middle of the block. Corner houses tend to get hit more often. And my street gets very little traffic except for people who live on it. And it's 1/2 acre lots with the houses set back about 100 feet from the street, which means if you are trying to case the place you are going you are going to be exposed a lot. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but there are a lot easier targets around.

We call Minnie Mouse and Seth our killer attack dogs but so far they haven't attacked or bit anyone. Trade, we have a 357 Mag too but we haven't been able to teach Seth how to use it when we aren't home.

Really though, Ring is great and my number one choice for home security.
