Homicide Life On The Streets

Andre Braugher's recent passing brought back fond memories of Homicide Life On The Streets, my #1 favorite show on Adelphia's CourtTV channel back in the '90s. I loved the high drama, the interaction between the characters, the shear gritty portrayal of a big city PD murder police making do with catching crooks, navigating through political minefields, and skimpy city budget shortfalls.
I loved all(most) of the characters, it's difficult to choose an absolute favorite, but just off the top of my head I'll list several of my favorites, in no particular order:
Frank Pembleton
John Munch
Meldrick Lewis
Lt. Al Giardello
Kay Howard

That was a great show, well written my favorite character besides 'Frank' was 'John Munch' played by Richard Belzer who also sadly passed away this yr
