75 years ago, the Spruce Goose made its first flight, and it never did so again.

I've been attacked twice by Canada geese, both times in Ohio. Springtime is rutting season for the birds and the ganders get very, very aggressive. The first time I was on my motorcycle headed into work, and the damn thing did his best to try and knock me off my bike. I finally managed to exceed his speed limit through a parking lot.

The second time, the damned goose just decided to attack the side of my vehicle. Apparently he didn't like the styling or color. Just a big THUMP when he ran up against it. No damage to him or the vehicle.
