I didn't think turkeys could really fly, then I found this-Imagine If Turkeys flew like geese.......only in a T formation!
"Wild turkeys can fly for short distances, reaching speeds of up to 55 miles per hour and often roosting in treetops at night. However, domestic turkeys are generally considered flightless due to their breeding for size and meat production"

I used to keep geese, along with ducks,poultry & a herd of milking goats. Loved the geese, great characters & terrific watchdogs.

The geese have been stopping in the fields,daily, for a "layover". I enjoy seeing them wheeling through the sky.
They come for the corn!

I saw the first two geese of spring land across street at the
cemetery yesterday, prob be more in coming days...

On the other hand, Canadian Goose Down is the very best for warmth in Winter. Can’t beat it!
