I'm a 57yo widow living in Onancock, VA on the eastern shore. I'm alone and living with my 2 cats, (I'm not an old cat lady, lol). I'm originally from Delaware, recently was living in New Orleans and planning on moving back there the first of the year. I love the beach, cooking, gardening, different crafts, flea markets and books. I'm here hoping to find new friends with similar interests.

I was in Onancock not too long ago, visiting the DMV, of all places. I used to live in Northern Virginia. AND, many years ago I worked for Virginia United Methodist Homes and I visited the Hermitage in Onancock. It's a great little town. I hope we can converse and get to know each other!

Croman, I offer you a pre-welcome. Deep friendships and even love have developed here. Sometimes I know it can be hard to find new friends in the physical world, ones of like mind. In the rural area where I live in Oregon, most everyone is very different from me. Mostly it's not a problem because I'm a writer, and that requires a degree of solitude. But sometimes it's nice to chat with friendly folks. There is certainly arguments that go on here, especially when it comes to political and religious topics. As the old timers used to say, those are the topics it's often best to stay away from. But all in all this is a good place that exists in digital time and space.
