Horrid Night. :-( Need Heater Recommendations

Yes, I have 4 of them! I live in a very rural area and am totally electric so have used them several times over 29 years. 2 of the large Mr. Buddy's and 2 small ones.
We had predictions of a blizzard in 2014 and went to the local Lowe's and bought 20 of the 1 lb. cannisters and have kept them on hand. They are hard to start though. You need some strength while starting.

I have a Mr Heater Buddy and love it. I am considering getting a Big Buddy too. I have the hose that connects it to the 20 pound propane tank also but you can't bring that big bottle in the house. You would have to run the line through a partially opened window sealed with a towel or something.

The small one gallon bottles are fine to use in the house and screws directly into the Buddy with no need for lines. They do an amazing job.

I like the Mr buddy heater... the 1 lb cans are ok, but, I prefer the 20lb bottle. Works fine for instant heat during power outages.

I have this same heater, and I agree, using a 1# tank is fine but it only lasts 5-6 hours, on low. You can buy the hose, and you need a filter, you can get it of Amazon, or from Lowe's, etc. Also, I bought larger ones from Amazon, Mr. Heater brand, I have the 10,000 btu, the 18,000 btu, and the 30,000 btu. All use a 20# tank, or larger. I live very rural and we lose power a lot.
