Horseradish is my Hot Date Tonight

funny play on words... :D but you can have it all to yourself, I hate horseradish..
Hey Doll St. Louis, ... East in Illinois is "Horseradish Capital of the World." Lol ... 😂 ...
I see migrant workers there in those fields at specific times! It seems sad so ..... the crap!
Such hard work and the direct sun Weather on Them. So many hard working out there!

But I sample and don't eat much either. Thumbs up to & of not a culinary delight with me here also.
My Mother had a way to use it with her things she fixed. I loved here foods. I am, "love you mom!"

When I was a kid my parents used to raise it and prepare it.

These days I’m content to buy a small jar every year.
We had it at some of our houses. Not in Oklahoma. Beef is about the only thing that grows well and hot peppers! Grate it, mix with grated Granny Smith and a bit of cream.
This is our go to nowadays. Freezes well after repackaging. Respirator!!! https://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Horse...ocphy=9026218&hvtargid=pla-2281435179538&th=1

We have a raised bed full of horseradish growing. We originally was given a start in 1992 when we moved in from the neighbors across the street. It's been moved around to different places in the yard & it keeps on growing. One spot that used to be part of the old garden we moved 6 years ago still comes back even though it gets mowed.
