When I was in the hospital for 7 days for my aspire pneumonia. I also had a bed alarm on my bed. They didn't want me getting out of bed without a nurse to watch me go to the toilet & not fall. I would push the button & they came & made sure I made it safely to John. There was another fellow his family brought into ER. They didn't know what was wrong with him. He was in the next room. I bet those nurses ran to that room every 20 minutes as he was getting out of bed. They called his relation & they had a major heated discussion with him telling him he couldn't go home till they found out what was wrong with him. they told him they could not take care of him at home & he needed to stay till they ran all the tests to find his problem.
Finally, his parents had to call security he got to cussing them so they hauled him down to the nurse's station in his bed had him handcuffed to the bed. They sedated him to calm him down.
I kept asking about that man that was in the room next door. The nurse said she couldn't tell me but he has some very serious health conditions that needed to be fixed fast.
If he had not been raising so much cain he would have been out of there a lot sooner without being handcuffed to the bed & sedated.
I find that if you go to a hospital DO WHAT THEY SAY, Your in there for a reason. To find out what health problems you have & fix them. The more he fought the longer it took to find his problems.
