The fires in this part of California and the 100 +temps have made staying in doors and not going outside the better choice because of the air quality.

Lon, I can only imagine the difficulties with poor air quality in your area. Here we have had sporadic warnings, nothing over 6, and that was difficult enough. High temps must make it near intolerable.

Wear a medical mask outside. The soft kind. You can get them at the drug store. You see the chinese with them all the time because their air quality is so poor. Take care.

We watched on TV the frightening fire in La Habra last nite, wow seemed a wee bit to close for comfort. Stay safe.

Lon, I'm in So CA for a few days but my brother is at my house and he said there are several helicopters and planes going over taking water to the fire. The evacuation area is getting closer to my house. I think my grandson's mom has already had to leave as she lives pretty close to the entrance at the park. This is a good time to stay indoors and relax. I agree with Lara, wear a mask if you have to go outdoors.

Lon, it is a drag to have to stay inside for so long and maybe a bit boring, but it's good to take care. A good time to veg out in front of the screen and snack on goodies. Maybe a drive to the mall might be possible?
