How are you today?

@Oldeagle66 One word: Yay!

Another morning of getting up late. Today? 8:30. Whaaat? That's three days in a row...Monday and Tuesday 7:30ish. But 8:30? Good thing I got up before Maggiecat chewed my arm off.

Anyway, I jumped up, fed Maggiecat, threw on my glad rags and went with DD to Aldi. Wednesday is when their new week starts, and they had jammies that I needed. Got 'em. Got home all in less than an hour.

Baby! It's cold and damp out there. If our high temp gets to 50F today, it'll be a surprise. I even donned a winter jacket.

It's a good day to get the bathroom walls washed, but I've said that for a week...

@Trish SNAP is for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, aka "food stamps." When it started it was actual paper coupons (stamps) but technology has moved benefits on to a reloadable card, like a debit card, and it's automatically updated every month. It's a benefit provided to low-income families, the elderly and the handicapped to help with purchasing food. The amount is determined by income and how many people there are in a family.

Thank you @Georgiagranny sad that people are struggling to buy food. The lady your daughter helped must have really appreciated the generosity of your daughter, very kind thing to do. ♥️

I don't know why but, I have become one of those people who rise early, work to dusk and still have the energy to be looking for more tasks to do!

It's winter for goodness sake; rain, gloom, short days and long nights, I should be hibernating or, at least sleeping until I reluctantly have to face the day, counting the hours until I can curl up again which is, after all, how I thought I would be spending my retirement.

If my batteries don't wear down a bit soon, I will run out of things to do - I wonder if next door's cupboards need sorting :unsure:

Hope you are all warm and well. :)

Do you use energy drinks or other electrolyte suppliments? Just curious because I am experimenting with them at present.

No, none of that stuff. The only change is that I have upped my exercise regime to make up for not going on such long walks now it's colder.

Actually, I bought some Costa hot chocolate recently and have cut down on coffee, I doubt that would make a difference though. The Costa coffee is really nice, not as sweet as hot chocolate normally is.

Usually I am like a bear or a bat or whatever - busy in the summer and hibernates in the winter. It's great to have so much energy and get so much done but just a bit odd. :)
