How are you today?

I'd be fine if not so cold. It's 26 here this morning. 🥶
I feel that! Husband has offered to take the first dog walk this morning because it is apparently 32F/0C with a wind chill. I do not have a proper coat for this weather.

I'll just walk on my treadmill for 15 mins and do my meditations/affirmations, so I won't miss that, and we'll see about the next two walks today. I despise the cold. ❄️

Otherwise, the day is going well, cept I woke too early, again. On the upside, boyfriend is back! (heyla, heyla) 😅

Wishing everyone a nice Tuesday.

I feel 10 lbs lighter because DD took me over to Great Clips to get my hair cut. Whoa...finally! I was trying to wait it out until payday next week but just couldn't stand it anymore. When it's long enough for the hair on the back of my neck to brush my collar, it's already way too long.

Maybe my mood will improve now, too. Where there's life, there's hope. Right?

Hi, kids. I might be fine today but will have to wake up first before I can tell ;)

It's not as cold as it has been the past two mornings and is even expected to be much warmer today. 60-ish. Yay!
Going to be warmer here today, as well. Yay! Sheesh, it's been cold the last few days.

Husband and I got to watch our hockey team win last night, which was fun. Our team was away so there was no fanfare when they scored. Luckily, I have their goal horn sound on an app on my android. ;)

The day is looking like it should from here.

Nice day, everyone.

It is currently 48° with full sunshine. We will reach a high of 63°F today. That is great news. We are crawling out of the two days of frigid that we experienced. None of us were ready for January weather on November 10, that’s for sure

The critter Chiropractor,, was here yesterday. Not too much wrong with either one of the horses, which was a surprise where my 30 year-old is concerned. Both of them did have some minor head and neck issues, which they probably wouldn’t have if they quit spitting at each other..

I have to order more, Osteo-Max from 100XEquine for Duncan. This stuff is like a magic bullet for him. I’ve never seen anything work as good on a horse as this does I don’t know how long it will last but I will spend the money as long as I need to. It goes without saying that it’s not at all cheap because nothing that works on a horse is going to be cheap.

It has occurred to me that Duncan has been somewhere between 29 and 31 years old when he arrived to my farm in 2022. So here we are in 2025 and that puts him three years older. His registration papers did not travel with him. I only have his vet papers and Coggins to go on. I honestly think he is just now between 29 and 31 years old. At any rate he is the sweetest big fella; the Chiropractor loves him just like all his other professional caregivers.

On a sad note, one of my Farm neighbors told me another farm neighbor lost her llama and a couple of sheep to coyotes. She’s only about a half a mile down the road through the woods. What is worrisome is I’ve been on this hill for 22 years and have never seen or heard issues with coyotes on our section of road, except for when the cows were calving, and nobody was around to watch them.

The coyotes are losing their hunting grounds thanks to all the building that’s going up in my area so they’re starting to get closer to the houses. Humans are always mucking things up and the animals, both wild & domestic suffer for it😡

We humans need something like this. No kidding.

I’m glad you asked🤠🤠

100xequine makes this for humans and dogs as well. This stuff works so good on my horse that I bought the human version which of course is not cheap.

It does help me a lot, but it is the most horrible horrible tasting stuff I have ever tasted. The only thing I have found that I can mix it with is applesauce to hide the slimy/gritty taste.🤢. It is just disgusting to the pallet, but it helps my arthritis enough that I will eat it in applesauce and not complain.🫣

Osteo-MAX Human » 64 oz » Free Shipping

I will say you have to be careful what you buy because there are a lot of Osteomax products out there, but they are not the same as this particular company’s product.

Also be careful if you buy this that you buy the one for humans and not horses because the ingredients are not identical. Believe me I already thought of that so I checked the ingredients and they are slightly different.

They do have legitimate studies behind this product, but please do your own research if you are serious about buying a product such as this or this one.

I just ordered a gallon for my horse this morning, so it should be here by Monday. The only place you can buy this particular product is directly through the company.

Feeling quite pleased with myself for purchasing several boxes of chocolates while they’re on sale. It may be sinful, but I’m happy. They’re not even good quality chocolates; I just like the flavours. Not being greedy, I will take a couple of boxes to meetings that I’m going to. Every chocolate will be gone by the end of the meeting.

We had a day out yesterday , traveled to the city ….attended the morning dance, danced from 9.30 am to 12 .15 ( lunch time )
We had a bit of shopping to do ,while down there ..no food shopping I’ve got enough in my cupboards fridge and freezer to feed the whole street for at least 3 weeks :):)

We needed to go to a vacuum cleaner parts shop to get a new motor for our power head that fits on out 25+ year old vacuum which is a good brand ( I asked in the shop yesterday, and he said it would cost us $1600.00 to replace it ..it a Wertheim brand )

so it just as well hubs is handy and able to do the repairs by replacing the PH motor and drive belt

Hubs is good he “mows“ as he calls it …out carpets once a month with the power head he always moves out bed and mows under it ….we had a fairly light colour carpet laid before moving in here and it still looks new

He calls it mowing cause it’s a noisey machine ….

I must have been tired after all that , traveled home , unpacked car ..had a snack for tea …I went to bed at 7 pm …didn’t wake till 6 .30 am …

Staying home today cause we are out a fair bit next week attending dances or associated functions + staying in the city for 2 nights / + lunch with 2 local friends …Phew im tired Just thinking about it …

My favorite chocolates are inexpensive. Erstwhile boyfriend once bought me expensive chocolates from a specialties shop and I felt so bad about not liking them. It seems sometimes that "more" is equated with better. Too much chocolate, nuts, caramel or all of the above.

I'm a fan of Russel Stovers. Some people say their chocolates are waxy, but I haven't noticed that at all. They know how to make chocolates. And Sees. They're good too.

Edit: typo

I love Russel Stover chocolate, especially their caramel. I have two caramel "ornaments" in my cupboard right now, calling my name. I've already devoured two Reese's peanut butter trees. 😄

I almost forget we spent $35 on the small bags of chocolate …hubs loves chocolate coated coffee beans

And for me milk chocolate coated cashews

We got them from Haigh IMG_1383.jpegchocolates that have been making sweet goodies for over 100 years in Adelaide
they are still in the same shop where they first started selling the chocolates the heart of the city on whats known as beehive corner 100 years ago…..started in 1915 …

They have a shop in a fairly new shopping centre where we’d bought the chocolates yesterday ( not in the city )

No need to justify chocolate purchases to us, Jules. If you don't share at meetings, we get where you're at.
When it comes to chocolate, it's every woman for herself.

Anger got the best of me and destroyed my plan for mastering the wheelchair. Languishing in the room in bed exhausted from misspent emotions. I WANT TO GO HOME but if I leave before others say I am ready would not qualify for at home care.
Accept that you had a bad day and prepare to have better ones. You want and need that home care.
