How are you today?

Good morning. I'm up at a normal-for-me time today. Got places to go, things to do, people to see, and DD wants to leave at 8:45 so I gotta get a wiggle on.

It's warm-ish this morning at 53. Yay. I won't have to wear 10 lbs of clothes to go outside. Had my coffee on the patio in just my jammies and robe.

Y'all have a perfectly swell day, okay?

Sunny and cool here at 42F.

Did a few small chores but emptying the D/W remains. I want to make @PeppermintPatty 's ham and potato soup in my little crock pot but feel too lazy.

DS stopped by last evening after his work for a bit.
Nothing much going on.
Have a sweet day Everyone!

It was about 43F/6C when I took Lucius out this morning and has warmed up to nearly 50F/10C for the second walk, which will be happening in about 10 minutes. That's a little warmer than the last couple days so, I'm not complaining.

Watched a great hockey game with husband last night! Much fun. :)

Hope everyone is doing well today.

I’ve been feeding meh lately too. I think part of it is seasonal affective disorder. The worst part of this is December 21st. I need to get my sun lamp out.

Because we get so little of it, I actually LOVE when it is cloudy and rainy here! I can imagine the winter weather puts a kink in your daily walks - so that makes sense from your point of view.

I need to exercise more!

ANGRY. I feel that I am being held against my will.
Oh Pepper... have you talked to the PTs about their objectives before they feel it's safe for you to return to solo independent living?

I learned the PT's goals for release when my loved ones have been in SNFs, and helped them work to attain those goals to speed up their release. (If it was to walk a loop around the hallway, dress and feed themselves, all without assistance, that's what we practiced.)

My dear friend, please try to calm your anger. This too shall pass. Many {{{hugs}}} being sent your way.

@Pepper, remember there’s a shortage of spaces and they’re keeping you for a reason. You need to be strong for the next procedure.

Enjoy your meals, read and watch Netflix. If you don’t have it or something similar, get it for a month. And do your exercises. Hugs.

Sorry @Jules @StarSong @Georgiagranny RTC.
Am Captain of my ship. Mistress of my fate. I reserve my right to decide. I know what I am capable of. That’s that. Forced them to give release day of Wednesday WITH at home. Care. When I say it’s ENOUGH it means enough

Sorry to hear you are going through a tough time! I hope it works out for the best. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be!

🙏🙏

You can go home at any time, Pepps. SNFs aren't prisons.
