Hey! I hope that wasn't my scone you scoffed this morning! I was thinking of flying over to get it but, you know how it is, the weather was cold, I didn't want to get wet, I needed to wash my hair ...... ;)

Wow! it looks glorious in your part of the World @packleader. Here we have grey skies, rain and it's dark by 4pm. The second photo, the plant with the pink tentacles, is it a Flamingo plant. I love it! :)
 
I decided to take a walk, buy some fresh fruit and vegetables and pop to the Post Office. I am glad I did because both the Post Office and the shop were empty.

On the way back, I bumped into my friends from the walking group who were just descending on a local cafe for coffee so, I thought I might as well join them :coffee::)

Nice to get home and back to the central heating although, I think our idea of cold is relative, you folk who live in colder climes would probably think we were all wimps which, to be honest, we probably are :ROFLMAO:

Until my late teens I did my share of shoveling snow, slip-sliding on black ice, feeling like my fingers were frozen and about to break off despite cold weather gear, then dealing with the flip side a few months later: muggy, buggy, hot, humid, summers.

Despite all that suffering, nobody pinned a medal on my chest.

Today's high? 73°. Like Randy Newman, I Love L.A. :love:🌞🕶️

Trying to keep thinking that things will get better.

I have a neighbor problem. Sometimes I feel it's best to ignore trouble some neighbors. I hope she stops bothering me.

It's cold today but I don't mind. I haven't liked hot weather in a long time and cooler is better.

Waiting on a food delivery. Fettuccine Alfredo and a salad 🫜 🥗

I'll probably watch The Voice tonight if it's not preempted by basketball 🏀

I am hopeful. Heard two other inmates say that they were getting sprung same day as me. I’ve really reached my limit as thank goodness I don’t need care anymore. Can do whatever I must without help. Miss my little cats so much it’s ridiculous!

Good luck 🤞 🍀 with getting out of there!

My neighbor was knocking and then banging on the wall behind my closet. She was doing other stuff too. I wasn't doing anything but hanging up clean clothes. Anyhow I handled it.

After that she put a note in my door wreath and I ignored it. Then she moved in to the floor by my door mat. Then last night she was banging on my door.


I'm ignoring that too. It's a long story but this neighbor is a trouble maker and I will not talk to her because of things she has said about me to someone.

This was a rough day emotionally. I can usually deal with the loneliness of losing a spouse, but for some reason it hit me hard today. I've been in bed most of the day trying to sleep it off, but now I'm ready to get up and face the world. It's not a "crying " depression, just a feeling of emptiness. It will get better as the days go by. I don't get this way very often, thank goodness!

Yes it all happened this weekend and I hope she stops coming to my door which is right next to hers. She wasn't here years ago. She moved in around June or July I believe. I didn't even know she had moved in. I thought there was a guy there! Used to be a real nice guy that helped me out during a 5 day no electricity last year. I want to move elsewhere. This building is fully of crazies. I'm a bit crazy myself 😂

We take my Mom to the VFW every year for Thanksgiving and for Christmas dinners. It's all homemade, by volunteers, and delicious!!! The best part is that there is no clean up! Also, we meet up with a lot of people who we know, while there....so it's a very social gathering! 🍗

I don't read notes crazy neighbors leave me on my doorstep. From my experience they usually threaten you or say mean stuff. I really don't need that as I'm pretty fragile these days 😔
