My big project today is washing the kitchen floor by hand and not the mop. I'm including the woodwork in kitchen also. I'm almost half done.

I'm going to bake some sweet potatoes. I have sour cream to go on them. I have ground turkey only and might make meatballs or turkey balls I should say 🤣. I have some good veggies I'm going to pan fry in a little olive oil. That's brussel sprouts and mushrooms and onions and cauliflower.

So cleaning and cooking are on my agenda today. I always feel like I've accomplished something when I get all that done.

I put some "Heat" in the bathroom/bathtub drain. I flushed it out with water 2 hours later. I hope it doesn't back up again. Or I'll have to call maintenance.

So another day and just getting the things done that need doing ❣️

Same thing just happened to me!
I was talking about this drug called Tremfya at my doctor's appt yesterday, and an ad popped up for it this morning on my computer. Now how did that happen 🤷‍♀️

BTW I realized I bought the mashed sweet potatoes instead of the sweet potato casserole. No problem. Some pecans, brown sugar, couple marshmallows.....shazaam!
And, I did make the branded cranberries...for us. 🙂
 
It's "Turkey Day" on Animal Crossing so I played that for a couple hours with boyfriend and while I was playing I had a croissant. Man, that thing was delicious! I don't eat a lot of bread and this was fluffy, pastry-like bread all infused with butter. It was like eating chocolate... almost.

Pies are out of the oven. Husband is putting butter and herb rubbed turkey parts in and I will start peeling potatoes for mashies in a few minutes.

I'm lov'n this day. :)

Hope everyone else is having a good day!

ETA: My mistake - husband is doing the turkey parts in the Instapot this year. So, they're actually about done. Wild.

Good morning. I slept the sleep of the innocent last night so am up and ready to lick my weight in wildcats. Yay!

It's cold but not so cold that I couldn't drink coffee on the teeny, tiny patio. It's so peaceful early in the morning.

Lunch yesterday was really nice. I'm telling ya, those two can cook. And I can, yanno, eat. LOL I am now officially turkeyed out. We have some turkey left over here, and I think I'm gonna freeze it for something one day next week. Turkey tetrazzini or soup or pot pie. Turkey something. Besides food and good company, I also got belated birthday presents. One of them a pair of socks with kitties that say "I do whatever I want to." Yup. That's me :)

There was a family here whose house burned down yesterday. Nobody hurt because they were awakened by the family pet and got out safely. The pet? Their rabbit!🐇Instead of a watchdog, they have a watch rabbit.

No idea if there's a plan today or what it might be.

Have a ducky day🦆.

Checked with DD. Her plan is to "transition" from autumn🍁 decor to Christmas🎅 decor. When she's done with that, she's gonna put up the tree🎄 but save decorating it for tomorrow when DSIL has a day off.

The tree usually goes up about a week or so before Christmas, but this year has been such a traumatizing sh!t show, that she said they need all the holiday spirit and good will they can muster up. I'll drink🍷to that.

My own plan for today is to "transition" a time or two from the sofa to the patio and back again. I don't like to decorate for the holidays anymore because it requires un-decorating after the first of the year. I do have a ceramic tree that Best Aunt made back in the late 30s or early 40s. Maybe I'll dig it out to see if it'll make me feel festive.🎅

Don’t know what to do with myself with no appointments scheduled. It seemed endless for the past couple of weeks. I’m hoping my dentist will have a cancellation soon. Prior to having a treatment, my doctor wants me to make certain my dental health is good.

Whenever I went to an appointment, I loaded up my backpack and dropped off donations at the nearest charity shop. These things were stacked in a pile in the corner of my bedroom. The pile is now minuscule and these leftovers might be better to wait for spring.
