How are you today?

It's raining☔:(. Other than that, I guess I'm okay this morning.

The rest of the turkey needs to be made into something or frozen. Maybe turkey vegetable soup? Maybe with dumplings? Haven't made soup with dumplings since I can't remember when. I dunno. Gonna take it under advisement.

Haven't checked to see if anybody next door is up yet. I could just poke my head out of the hall door and peek...

Turkey vegetable soup sounds good @Georgiagranny.

Doing ok here today. Would've liked to have gotten more sleep but I got more rest last night than what I've had so I'll take it. Had to go back to actual sudafed for my sinuses. I just couldn't take it anymore being stopped up so bad.

The second time I had covid it screwed up my sinus on the left side so bad that they thought I had a deviated septum cuz they can no longer do the brain picker on that side. LOL!

It was so cold all night but I put the heat on 72 and pulled the comforter up to my neck. It will be in the 20s today and tomorrow with snow tomorrow. Back into the 40s the rest of the week.

Why oh why do I have to keep reminding y'all that it's sNOw?

Decided on turkey vegetable soup. It's cooking as we speak and smells good.

DD and I made a pass through Wallyworld. There were lots of parking places and very few people in the store. Just the way I like it.

Then we made a pass through Dollar Tree to get a couple of things. Hardly anybody in there, either. Just the way I like it.

Now we're home. It's cold and clammy and rainy, and I don't wanna go out again today so I won't. Ima stay inside where it's warm and dry and smells good and where there's a nice, furry kitty.

That’s because they were at my Walmart. The Christmas shopping is in full force. As for me being there, I needed to be there to get ingredients for soup. Then I came home and made a different kind.
Goodness! They drove out of the way to get there to bother you;). Maybe all the locals here were still in church.

The only "extra" thing I bought for my soup was a bag of broccoli slaw mix to chop up even smaller to throw in the soup. More veggies and they won't notice them, so they're getting more good stuff. I'm sneaky that way. Anyway, I only put about half the bag in. Then so that it wasn't too nourishing, I made dumplings for the soup, too;)

That's the end of the turkey. Yay.

Well, I now understand how Elvis felt when he shot his TV. Trying to use a free Apple TV one month subscription and it’s making me jump through hoops. Did the sign in needed on the ipad; wait until the TV screen refreshes. No that‘s not happening. Tried the screen again. Use your password. It said “are you an idiot, that’s the wrong password“. This is a short story of how long we’ve been trying to make this connection. The free month will be up before it happens.

Doing good.

Had a morning with two cups of tea and a dose of internet reading. Boring stuff, User Agreements, legal requirements etc. I then tried to perform an action on a finance site, something I thought was going to be a couple clicks, and found it impossible to navigate due to hidden links, pages that just hung, and so on.........

I have never been a coffee drinker— never. I know I stand pretty much alone, but I hate the taste of coffee. I love the smell of percolated coffee, but the taste does not agree with me.

Three Excedrin extra strength with two soda crackers and I am good to head to the barn. Nothing that might resemble breakfast until I get back from the barn; which is generally a bagel.

Have a doc appointment later this morning because I have an ear ache. It kept me up last night. And besides that, my neck hurts on the same side. The neck thing has been bothering me for a couple of months. Maybe the neck pain caused the ear ache? Guess I'll find out.

Other than that, I'm just as fine as frog's🐸 hair.

Cold and sunny right now. Cold and cloudy by lunchtime.

Doing ok this morning. Just starting to feel like I should keep my opinions to myself and spend more time in the games area or the kinder more cheerful threads. Places where it's not necessary for me to know much of anything.

Waiting on a package and some groceries for later. Debating on having Burger King cook for me today.

@MarciKS Pffft! You can have and share all the opinions you want (as long as they aren't political). Yours are just as valid as anybody else's. So there. I have spoken. I'm old and know stuff.

If Burger King cooks your lunch, you'll have to go out. There are people out there!
LOL!

I will have it delivered. I don't sit amongst the masses anymore cuz of Covid and my COPD.

DH & I put up a fair amount of decorations yesterday. More today and likely into tomorrow. Just a few hours each day.

I have a significant annual business task in front of me that involves graphics design. My version of the program is incompatible with anything after Windows 7, so I kept my old computer for these kinds of designs.

Plunking down hundreds to purchase updated software that'll surely also be obsolete in just a few years? Not gonna happen. Nor will I pay a monthly subscription. And forget spending hours watching/reading tutorials to navigate new menus, terms or bells and whistles.

I download the info I need from my customer's email, put it on a thumb drive, then plug the thumb drive into the Win 7 computer. I work out the design, convert it to PDF, JPG and PNG, and put that on the thumb drive.

Then I plug the thumb drive into my internet-connected computer and send them to my customer for approval.
A little convoluted but it works.

Getting the design just right usually takes me about ten hours so I spread it out over a few days. I'll start on it today or tomorrow because I need it approved no later than December 15th.
