How are you today?

Well, I have another headache at the moment and I woke having not heard my med. alarm and so, taking my Levo. at 08:00 instead of 04:00, I had to wait an hour before I could have coffee. So that sucked.

The good news is that my husband, bless that man to the skies, took Lucius out to the yard and across the street for a quick "relief" trip, just a few minutes ago. And that means that I have a little extra time to wait for my headache pill to work and put some make-up on before I take Lucius out for his proper walk.

The pill will work and I'll feel better.

Wishing everyone a nice Saturday. :)

Good morning all! Yesterday I packed up most of the leftover cookies and stashed them in the freezer. I gained about 3 pounds over the holidays. Not complaining considering all the snacks, pizza, tortellini, cookies, chocolate and other calorie-laden foods I ate over the last six weeks, but it's time to address those pounds before they invite a few friends to join them.

We've begun working on putting away Christmas decorations. Within a week the house should be back to normal. (We have A LOT of Christmas decorations.)

DH does most of the decorating while I bake, but we combine forces to put things away.

Our older grandkids are coming tomorrow and will spend the night. Their schools start back up on Wednesday.

Hope all have a great day!

I am walking to back door feeling for the temp to rise a bit so I can get out and take my lights down.
I may wait until Monday, supposed to be 60s, much better than mid-30s.
I hate to take them down they are so cheery looking in the dark
Then the duty I absolutely hate, giving Myer her hygiene shave on her back end.
I know a lot of men who would like to have half that hair I shave off..... well maybe not on their head
but I think you know what I mean :ROFLMAO:

I live. Not enough strength left today to post much. It'll be a while before I'm well again. Discovered purely by happenstance during urgent care visit that I have severe arthritis in my neck. Who knew? It even has a name, cervical spondylosis. It's a result of a fracture from an auto accident 50 years ago and multiple whiplash injuries since then. Explains a lot of pain over the years....just not this latest illness.

Gotta rest.

Nice to see you here, again. Sorry you're not feeling well and yikes about your neck! Feel better soon. ❤️

Not looking for any sympathy. Intention is to shed light on a subject very few want to divulge or discuss and often force themselves to hide behind a happy face when around family and friends BUT me, I have been battling grief; unanticipated bursts of anger, guilt and loneliness since my wife passed and these holidays have only managed to make my heart ache even more than usual. I know I’m not the only one, and I hope anyone else feeling the hurt this holiday season has found a way to manage. If you know someone that is down in the dumps missing a loved one, be a friend and show you care.

Sorry for your painful struggles this season. Welcome to SF. 🤗

Hi there. I'm finding I am not very much "with it" today. First of all for a good part of the day I thought it was Monday 🤣 I've been sleeping a lot. I'm taking a new medicine that is very relaxing. I have to make myself do some cleaning 🧹 and get to the drugstore too. It's been too 🥶 cold and treacherous out there. I don't want to have a bad fall out there.

I have black coffee or tea while waiting out the hour if I feel like it. I then wait another hour after pantoprazole. I think it helped me lose a few pounds.

My understanding is that coffee and even tea can severely interfere with Levothyroxine absorption so I avoid it for at least 60 minutes to be safe. Usually, if I take my pill at 04:00 like I mean to, I have no worries about waiting. :)

I've changed my secondary alarm sound to one much louder and more unsettling. :/
