How are you today?

I have been going through my house. It gets a bit overwhelming but it keeps me busy. It's hard to part with things that have lived with you for forty years!
I'm in stages. This first one is trash. Things that go straight to the landfill. Then donations. Once these are out of the way then give aways to family and friends. Then probably an estate sale or garage sale.
I don't know if I want to move but right now. I can't because there is too much stuff to deal with.
I am making a dent though!

I slept a solid night, guess the dog got dad to let her out at 11pm as there is no wet spots anywhere...good girl! Thing is sleeping that sound I woke up at 2am. Good thing it's a holiday and I do not shop on those.
Taxes getting done tomorrow and DH is actually gathered up things ahead of time, good boy!:D
 
Good morning. I'm up and ready to lick my weight in wildcats. Or get out in the garden to continue my relentless pursuit of weeds. Gotta get indoor stuff done and get into my gardening grubbies so that when it's daylight I can go forth...

My neck is killing me. I don't complain a whole lot about aches and pains, but this pain in the neck is a beeyotch :mad:

@hearlady I have to "do" early in the day because I run out of steam. I usually underdo in the afternoon.

Anyway, I was out merrily digging along when my gloves got wet and made my fingers cold so I've come in for a while to warm up. When I go out again, I'm gonna break out the new gardening gloves that were in my Christmas stocking. It's a shame to get them all dirty because when they're new, they're so pretty.

The neck problem will be problem forevermore. It's a leftover from a car accident 50 years ago. I was warned at the time that it might be a problem. It wasn't for years and years and only resurfaced in the past few months.
 
All's quiet on the Western front.

Will do some invoicing in a few minutes. After that, if yesterday's laundry on the garage drying rack and pole is ready to be put away, I'll do that and start another load. If not, as Scarlett said, "Tomorrow is another day..."

Planning to root around in the freezers today to see what bits and bobs warrant being cleared out. For instance, we're slowly working our way through a bag of cooked shrimp before that dreaded freezer burn appears. I take out a dozen-ish at a time, putting them in a small bowl in the fridge to defrost. DH and I throw them into salads or add to whatever else we're eating to use them up. That kind of thing.

It's a never ending process.
 
Had a bit of a panic this morning when my only good eye went crazy. It turned out to be an optical migraine, which I’ve had before but not like this. Since this went on much, much longer and was such a different type, I managed to get in to the Opthamologist. The clerk wanted me to wait a couple of days, then I got a call back. Phew, glad it’s all ok.

I’m glad your eye and migraine are all better.
 
@Jules Are you okay now?

Was it the kind with the aura? When I get migraines, that's what I get...that's what I call a "blinding" headache because all I can see is the shimmering and moving bright lights, but without the pain. The aura is bad enough; I'm grateful that I don't get the pain.
 
We're falling apart. 🤣
At least it's together.

I'm doing ok except for feeling funky after going into dialysis to clean. She was heat disinfecting the machines with acid and heat and the smell was too much. I told her I'd come back later to finish. My COPD did not like that.

Finger feels pretty good after my second session with the tens unit. 😁

There was no pain. Just rolling, strobing lights and much longer and different than any I’ve had before. With only having the real vision in one eye, I panic when something is acting up. My dilated eye is almost back to normal after 5 hours.
