How are you today?

Working. Once I get off tonight I will put my grocery order in for tomorrow and play some video games and hit the sack. It's my weekend off and I hafta do some more decluttering of the kitchen.
I’m working too. I spent 45 min on the phone trying to get a patient’s meds straightened out. I have listened to so much elevator music today while on hold with pharmacies I should be at the top of the Empire State Building 🏙️

I know from past experience how frustrating that is. There's just not enough time in a shift to get everything done that's expected of nurses.

I hate to tell you this but they have that closed to the public and there's chicken wire on the other levels just for that reason. LOL

As for the thread, "How are you today?" It was a great morning until 10:20 AM when the neighbor started playing loud music in the garage with the door open. It went on almost 2 hours before he shut it down. I'm one of those people who gets unduly stressed by people like that. Not a good day to check blood pressure.

I get that. What really bugs me is that I know they know they're being inconsiderate. It's just such a tricksy situation with neighbors, though.

The vacuum and sewing are still tucked away.

First I had to walk. Then banana bread needed to be made. Then I analyzed my fridge. Then lunch. Now I’m logged on here. And hopping out of my chair every 5 minutes to check the banana bread.
I like banana bread, but I don't try anything that complicated. It sounds better than the lemon cookies I made this morning.

Hope so Oscash!
Just an update on my old car. On my way home yesterday, the car slowed down and came to a halt just near my home. I rang the NRMA to have it towed back to the service centre, they worked on it for 2 days and said they found the fault. Had to pay another $330.00. Let's hope there won't be any more dramas. I do say a little prayer every time I start it up.

I had a neighbor like that once, always gathered by his little shed at night with friends - drinking and playing loud music and yacking.... sadly, my bedroom window was right next to them. Often, I would have to run the AC because I couldn't leave my sliding glass doors open for air because they were so loud ---- very very very rude!!!!!! :(

That would really be bad trying to sleep. I would call 911 about that, but even that is no guarantee it would stop because half the time, they won't send a squad car. And, if I confront a neighbor, I might end up with a flat tire the next day, or worse.

Around here if you call the cops it comes in through a scanner page on FB and they know who you are and twice now I've had people come to my home to harass me. I put my earplugs in. Not worth getting shot over.
