How are you today?

Hardly any bunny stuff at the Aldi where we usually shop :(, still just St. Paddy's day decorations. Geez. Easter is just three weeks away.

Indoor chores done and waiting for it to get a bit warmer outside before I tackle the back yard and garden.
Snow is just melting off our flower bed. It will be wayyyy too muddy, to do any little thing, even get closer to it, for a month, probably. ๐Ÿ™„
Tulip tips are poking up from the soil, though.

Pictures of my hike this morning continued, but I often walk around our small town instead. And every evening another, shorter walk.

On the other side of the Santa Ana Mountains lies the Pacific Ocean...................Wild growing cacti.

Our so-called "Inland Empire" East of Los Angeles is surrounded by four mountain ranges; here the San Gabriel Mountains.

A Hummingbird is resting.......................................................................After coming home, a treat. Here jointly licking the spoon clean.

Morning again. It happens every day. But today is different. It's Pi day.

It's our last nice day for a while so I'm gonna yank more weeds and probably going to mow what's left of the lawn. Tomorrow afternoon all the tender shoots will get covered because our nighttime temps will be down in the 20s for a few early mornings. Ugh. This is our third...or maybe fourth?...fake spring.

DD's friend (and mine) is coming over this afternoon. Don't know what time because she's not known for showing up when she says she is.

Congratulate me. The bed is already made.

Got everything knocked off my errands list yesterday. Today the two littles are coming over so when it comes to productive activities, at best I expect to pull together a Jennifer Aniston type salad while they're here.

When the boys start to get on each other's nerves, I'll soften some vanilla ice cream and sorbet, mash them together, and have them "help" me make some ice cream sandwiches. Should be a hoot and a good interruption in the squabbles.

Pretty good, so far. :) I got good sleep last night, the weather is pleasant enough and at this point in the day I'm finished with almost all of my "mandatories."

I need to walk Lucius in about an hour, then I'll hang out with boyfriend and play Animal Crossing for a while.

Lately, I've let myself slip back into listening to podcasts that are bad for my state of mind; creepy stalker or horror-type stories. So... I need to stop doing that. lol Today I bought another Star Trek book from Audible, the second in a trilogy I've been wanting to finish.

@Ruthanne, sorry for what you're going through with your neighbors; that sounds awful. :/

@Pepper, I know being stuck where you are sucks. I agree with Georgiagranny; scream all you want, girl.

@StarSong, that is a great idea; smooshing vanilla ice cream and sorbet. I love orange sorbet popsicles with vanilla ice cream in the middle. Now I want to do that too. Ooo, Easter is coming up and that would be a fun dessert to follow our traditional Chinese food Easter dinner! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Good morning. Yesterday was sunny and 81. Today expected to be about 70 and overcast and will be spent prepping for what we hope is winter's last gasp starting tomorrow and lasting through Wednesday.

In case y'all forgot: Beware the Ides of March! Especially if your name happens to be Julius Caesar.

Morning folks!! This is crazy weather, we're starting at temp of
61deg F, but then temp drops into 30's with high winds expected...
But not going out anyway...have a man coming by to give me an
estimate on the lawn cleanup I need....otherwise no major plans
for me today.....aches 'n pains are just fine, so will catch u L8R....

Oh. Em. Gee. Our crummy weather forecast just changed a bit: there's a possibility of...wait for it...sNOw flurries. Ack!

Flurries. Not really so bad when I consider that my brother had to get his groceries early yesterday so that he could go home and hunker down. Their sNOwfall total? Anywhere from 12-36" of sNOw between last night and Wednesday morning.

We're in a heat spell. Hard to believe other parts of the US are dealing with snowfall.

Yesterday's ice cream sandwiches were a hit. I used the last of my Christmas ginger cookies for the bases. The 4 year old knows what's in my freezer's cookie stash and requested vanilla ice cream in some of my leftover chocolate cookies. So we'll do those next weekend. (Might try some with raspberry sorbet swirled into the vanilla ice cream.)

These happen to be small cookies, as Christmas cookies tend to be. Roughly 1-1/2" in diameter. So they're two or three bite cookies for adults, but that translates to about a dozen tiny bites for the littles. ๐Ÿ˜

@Medusa thank you for thinking of me. This neighbor bangs and makes other loud noises on my bedroom wall when I am sleeping to wake me up. He is on the other side of the wall of course.

I took a nap after I got up. I am going to make an appointment to see a physical therapist this week. PT has helped me before. I hope I will get good results like before.

It's always something isn't it....
