How are you today?

Right now, I have only two Boxer dogs. But for a long time, I had as many as four. They are laid to rest in our pet
cemetery behind the house. So, is it surprising that my family and relatives have given me plenty of Boxer souvenirs?

Morning all folks!! Feeling pretty decent this morn in spite of bad sleep
pattern I'm into these days.....Nearly pain-free this morning!! so far!!
all sunny after some rain, 68F deg and 80 for the high today yay!!
Caregiver comes today at 11am, so thats nice....Only thing I have
to take care of is call the hospital and get the bills taken care of from
back in january. so catch you later on....take care, love ya,!! :coffee:

Son got kicked off school. Had a talk with the school attendance officer and a teacher. He doesn't want to study anything else. Not even a stupid private school I wanted to borrow money for. My manager's daughter goes there. Crazy school for spoiled rich Dutch kids. I wonder if any other country has this nonsense. She could just play on her phone there and do whatever she wanted. Not obliged to go to any lesson. Anyway he doesnt want that so thats nice and cheap. He's gonna walk dogs now. He loves walking. The attendance guy only expects him to do something 3 days a week.

@Messy How old is your son? Take comfort in the fact that he will grow up! I know this because mine did. Two sons, what one didn't think of the other did. They both quit school as soon as the law allowed(at 16). Mmhmm. Then as soon as the law allowed (at 18) they both took the GED (high school equivalency exam), both passed in the 99th percentile, then moved on and grew up. Yay!

Okay. I spent the morning in the garden, probably done for the day because it's hot, already 82F. Now I'm tired.

Mindless TV and online solitaire on the agenda. Maybe a nap.

@hawkdon Be mindful of the weather!

Good morning, Invsipeeps. It's gonna be hot again. This week it's summer (in the upper 80s); next week it's spring (in the low to mid-70s).

This will come as a surprise...I have things to do in the garden ;).

And today is laundry day. Hate that I missed yesterday's National Laundry Day celebration. I bet there was a parade. I love parades. Drat.

He's 16. I kept stressing and trying to find schools for him. Now I'm like: Go walk dogs. If he gets enough of it he can go study and be motivated and if he likes it it's also fine with me. Maybe start his own company.

Good morning, boys and girls. It's gonna be a very summery 89F today so I gotta get out in the garden early.

Tomorrow? It's gonna be a very wintery 68F and windy. I won't go out at all tomorrow.

@hawkdon and everyone else in tornado country, I hope y'all escaped any damage.
There is a terrible drought. We're supposed to get rain tomorrow but they say not to get excited, it won't be much.
I was going to clean out old food but I think I'll hang on to it for a while.

Well things were good till abt noon, thats when my low back rared
up in extreme pain......so that's how it is now....took a pain pill then,
and just now took 2 advil to get a bit of relief,,,,,,,if a tornado comes
tonite I will just sit here and cuss it, cause I can't outrun a snail.>!!!!:giggle::love:
I hope there was no tornadoes last night. The weather report did not look good!

Checked my bank balances this morning and was a little surprised (in a delighted way) that the federal eagle (AKA Social Security) made a nice deposit in my account.
@Georgiagranny usually gives me an advance head's up, but she was probably still a little hungover from belated laundry day celebrations.

Have a good day, SFers!
I have been dealing with the V.A. since my husband's death. I saw a sizeable withdrawal from my bank account. It was the same amount deposited on Dec. 29th. DH passed on Dec 26th. I figured it was making up the overpayment but they never sent me anything so I called them to be sure and they confirmed the overpayment.
I did get almost an apology letter from my bank saying we had to let them take this amount. If you have questions call us.
I thought " No, it's OK. The Govt is famous for giveth then taketh away. " 🙄

I guess it's better for you they took it back so quickly so you didn't spend it without realizing it. I wish other programs sending out funds were
that fast to catch things like that.
