How are you today?

Weather is nice - not too hot. I have decided to take a chance and pack my winter stuff away. I have far more summer clothes than I thought!

I will be popping out later, just for the walk really but, I will pop into the shops and pick up a few bits. We have plans for tomorrow and Friday and also going to support a few friends running in the London Marathon on Sunday so, it's going to be a busy, fun few days ahead.

Hope you are all well. x

I am determined today that nothing is going to ruin my mood today.
Myer sleeping on my foot snoring softly, coffee pot is perking away the 2nd pot
Robins are out feeding, Cardinals are right outside my window singing.
Nothing going to break my stride..unless that squirrel jumps on my feeder again.

Morning all folks!!! Just sitting here with 2nd cuppa...WEnt to bed at 10
and out of bed at 6am, so a great nite of rest!! Aches and pains seem
to have dwindled overnite, what a blessing...going to try and cut my
toenails today, that is always a chore...may order a few groceries....not
going to try a marathon tho!!
I plan to try and hire someone off nextdoor site to do a complete
window cleaning on this old house, will see how that goes.....anyhoo
have a lovely day if you want!!!;):D:cool::love::coffee:🥰😚

Up at 6am. drank 1st cup of coffee. Fed the crows, walked the perimiter with the fur babies. weed wacked the front yard, mowed the side yard, (under the power lines). Swept all the trimming debris off the doggie stepping stones. Fed the one fussy fur baby some breakfast. drank a 2nd cup of coffee. waiting for my oatmeal to cook and watching 2 crows hop and jump with a rabbit. All before 9am... life is good. Maybe I'll finish painting the west wall of the house,(already did the front, east and rear over the last 2 days). we'll see.

@Ruthanne Are you making any progress on the wait list for a new apartment?

Went with DD and DGD to Aldi this morning. DD bought me a new windspinner. It's purple. Now all we need is a nice breeze.

Then I played in the dirt. It's called "getting back to the land." Or killing weeds.

Now I'm done for the day because it's hot, and I'm tard. Tard is Southern-speak for plumb worn out. Or tired.

Nap time🛌

Around this area right now the term ‘air quality’ is an oxymoron…. Scattered fires have left the air hazy /smoky. Can’t hardly get your breath outside. I feel bad for folks with respiratory issues 😕

I’ve been to town to do last minute shopping before the weekend. We’re having our annual onion festival and it’ll be crazy downtown. Plus we have the blue angels coming to the air show, which always draws a big crowd. But it’s also a very noisy weekend… between weather and crowds, I will be staying inside this weekend

I'm going to call that apartment place . My stomach feels somewhat better. I was able to walk without the cane and I didn't fall down.

I got some food de,livered from Aldi's yesterday and Its good to have food again.

Have a good day!

Happy hump day, SFers!

I've had a great couple of days.... between Mon & Tues I cleaned the house from stem to stern, dusting and mopping included. My friend & her husband arrived yesterday afternoon and left this morning. Had a great visit with them. Lots of conversation and plenty of laughs, as always. ❤️

It's already noon, and other than my 30-ish minute online balance and strengthening class, there's nothing pressing on today's agenda. So far, anyway.

Hope all of you can make today a good one!

It's evening here and it's been a good, productive day. Had a sort through some of the stuff which I have put to one side to go and successfully managed not to sneak anything back into the wardrobes :)

I bought some things for lunch and some flower seeds for the garden and went visiting. After lunch, we tidied up the garden and planted the seeds. I am not a great gardener like some of you here but, I am enjoying helping to make mum's garden nice again.

Before going home, I went and got more shopping and, on the way home, I spotted a linen top which will go perfect with a pair of trousers I am planning to wear this weekend, how could I resist it? Truthfully, I didn't even try ;)
