How big is your local shopping centre?

Just reading about huge malls makes me claustrophobic.

For those who posted acres of parking, do they have shuttles available to get to the store? I’d be too tired to shop after I got in the doors.
I've not noticed at our Shopping centres tbh if they have a shuttle service from the car park because I can usually park quite close... I would imagine they do...

Walmart is within sight of us... https://www.walmart.com/store/3454-perry-ut?cn=Tracking_local_pack_1

I hate Walmart, but go for its convenience. Have not been in a mall in years, never want to see the inside of one again. Don't think we have one nearby, but wouldn't know either. I prefer small local stores but we have few of those. Most of my shopping is done at Amazon.

The mall is decent sized. But of coarse the malls are not what they once were. Especially in the 80's. Sears closed and that store remains empty. A more local department store closed years ago, Forever 21 went in (talk about a store that sucks) and that part of the mall got rebuilt to some chain stores like Burlington. I think access is only from outside now, you can't get into the mall from them.

I'm not at malls much since I'm a thrift shopper. But sometimes you have to go.

Not always, but they do have muggers and purse-snatchers. :)

Security has become a huge issue. It is not uncommon to have groups of young people fighting, gunshots, etc... The mall now prohibits young people unless they are accompanied by someone over 21.

I haven't been to our local mega-mall in years.

It's funny that almost everything I want is always out of stock, but they would be happy to order it.

Our local mall is a magnet for Canadian shoppers.

One interesting feature that the mall set up several years ago is a lounge for the tour bus drivers. It provides free refreshments, television, and places to sleep/rest while their passengers shop.
